I am now involved in academic teaching and research, and also work related to the Christian environmental movement.
My principal academic roles are:
2) Associate Member of the Institute of Human Sciences
at the University of Oxford. Here I am involved in taking tutorials, setting and marking finals papers and supervising dissertations.
Christianity and the Environment
1) Operations Manager for the John Ray Initiative
(JRI), a charity looking at the interactions between science, faith and the environment. I am in charge of a small staff team, organise conferences, speak and deal with publications and publicity.
2) Principal Tutor of the Certificate in Christian Rural and Environmental Studies (CRES
), a distance learning course that is jointly run by JRI and A Rocha UK.
In addition to the above I do a lot of independent speaking and writing, and I help my wife, Margot with her four parishes. All this keeps me VERY busy!
